INVITATION FOR BIDS

RENOVATION OF WASH ROOMS AT C BUNGALOW, BASE BUILDING, PIDURUTALAGALA

BID NO: 109/T/2023

Chairman on behalf of the Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) limited invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Bid for the Renovation of Wash Rooms at C Bungalow, Base Building, Pidurutalagala as described below and estimated to cost of Rs.7 Million approximately. The work to be carried out in accordance with the specifications, bill of quantities and the drawings. The period of completion is Ninety (90) Days from the Start Date.

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding Procedure. 
To be eligible for contract award, the successful bidder shall not have been blacklisted and shall meet the following requirements:
Contractors registered for Grade C8, C7 and C6 only – Building Construction with the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) with experience in similar works. 

Interested bidders may obtain further information from Head of Projects, Projects Division, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake on Telephone No.                      011-2263700, 011-2263711 and inspect the bidding document at the office of the Supply Chain Management Division, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake from 09.00 hrs. to 16.00 hrs. on week days from  17.04.2024 to 13.05.2024.
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Chairman, Procurement Committee No.02, Supply Chain Management Division, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, from 17.04.2024 until 13.05.2024  from 09.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs. upon payment of a non refundable fee of Rupees 3,000.00. The method of payment will be in cash.
Bids shall be delivered in duplicate to the address - Chairman, Procurement Committee No. 02, Supply Chain Management Division, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake on or before 14.00 hrs on Tuesday the 14th May 2024. Late bids will be rejected.  Bids will be opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders’ representatives.

All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid security (on demand bid bond) in the amount of Rupees Seventy Thousand (Rs.70,000.00) issued by Institutions listed in the Bid Document or a receipt of the Cash Deposit should be submitted with the Bids. All Bidders or their authorized representatives are invited to attend the pre – bid meeting, on 24.04.2024 at. 10.00 hrs at the AASL Base Building, Pidurutalagala, Nuwaraeliya.
